Sony files to dismiss 'Other OS' class action lawsuit

Whenever I see a PS3 poster with that slogan, I want to run up to it with a Sharpie and, underneath "IT ONLY DOES EVERYTHING" write "EXCEPT PLAY PS2 DISCS."

Holy crap, man. You think Don Bluth may have had a crush on his own drawings?

The light effects were very interesting. Wish I could've been there live.

Gravity-defying indie platformer VVVVVV released

Jan 11th 2010 5:41PM (Joystiq)
I loved this guy's Flash game, "Don't Look Back." Seems he really likes the retro look and sound. I can dig it.

$15 does seem a bit steep. How many levels are in the whole thing, anyway?

Not to say I wasn't having fun during the demo, because I was. But $15 seems like a really high asking price for your first for-money indie release. $5 would've been perfect, and even $10 might not have been all that bad, but I think $15 is asking a little too much.

What, no link to the Birthday Cake song, JC? Disappointed.

Gawd, I hated that thing. Cringed for 3 minutes straight every time it came on in the radio shuffle.

Q&A: Jordan Mechner and Jerry Bruckheimer on 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time'

If Mechner and Ubisoft return to the Sands of Time characters and story in a new game, I might just have to buy a 360 to play that.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Are there no nipples in Japan, or something?

Hey, Justin. How about a feature on "Don't Look Back"? It's one of my favorite Flash games of all time.

Slingshot or meteor (to knock them off) ought to do. If you're feeling especially creative, you could try a Molotov Cocktail to burn the supports, though I doubt that's in the game's vocabulary.

I guess "bomb" or "grenade" might be easier though, hrm?

Steve Harris hints at the future of the reborn EGM

Jul 5th 2009 10:07PM (Joystiq)
EGM is the only games magazine I've ever genuinely enjoyed reading. Game Informer might be okay if it weren't owned by Gamestop, and their review scale didn't call 7 an average score.

I welcome the return of EGM, but I think whatever this new "electronic" thing is, it should die out fairly quickly. I don't think gamers right now are very enthusiastic about gimmicks (and you guys can feel free to make all the Wii and Natal jokes you want).
