New York is one of the worst possible locations to hold an event like that. Theyd be better off in some hodunk city nobody has heard of. LA is ideal because it has everything NY has but its large and spread out like a non-metropolitan city, and probably 80% of game studios and gaming press reside in california.

What ruined FC2 for me were all the gang checkpoints and how EVERY thing you saw was an enemy. You cannot have that in an open world game. The world felt dead, and because you could never just go about your business without being attacked the game felt linear. I hope they fix that and throw in some life, not just mindless attack bots.

They do this for the ps3/360 when showing off games so its not surprising, the developer wants people to see the version that looks the best so they use that when advertising on both consoles. The fact that we dont know if it was the PS3 version OR the 360 version says it all. Although it does make for a poor demo for a new console when you cant show anything running on the actual hardware.

FF13 was one of the worst games I ever played so even if this game is actually good I dont think I want to be reminded of how insanely bored 13 made me. I dont understand why Square doesnt drop everything about 13 and move on, but then again everything Square has done over the last few years has completely defied logic.

50 bucks each? they better not pull that shit here. Its not like they redid all the textures and models, most of it still looks like a PS2 game with blurry tiled textures. I will not be getting this at 50 bucks each, no way in hell, I would pull out my PS2 before paying that much.

Is this game ever coming out? Ive only bought one game online and that was Limbo, this will be the 2nd. I want more games like this and Limbo on the marketplace, not glorified cellphone games.

@ptcamn There were no free roaming 3d games where you could climb things and go pretty much wherever you wanted before Tomb Raider. It came out at the same time technology was good enough to create such a game. Its use of music was also innovative.
