I know the cartoon rights got sold a while ago (why the cartoon got canceled) I guess the new owners want too much for renewing the old licences.

10% is't bad.. not great but not bad. Of coarse when wow launched 99% of mmo did't have 500,000 players let alone a million. wows number blow things a bit out of proportion.

i was in a mechwarior mmo beta years ago ea was running.. got canned in beta. had major blanace issues.

Bliz can fix this buy adding a limited BOE items shop. Sell the pets/mounts from bliz store as BOE items that then bind to your battlenet account. Heck add in some minor leveling accelerators like a 6 pack of potions of $5 that give you a full rested EXP bar or something. (Make them Unable under only under level 80). if you want to "Buy Gold" your can buy one of these pet/Potions ext and put in in AH for gold. I was Allods til recently and there was NEVER gold spammers. There was no point if i really wanted gold that badly it was be simpler to buy starchips or buff potions (stuff you can get as rare loot in game) in item shop and just post it in AH or in Trade. Or hell add an eve style Plex system.

I can't believe they launched without an authenticator type system . If only basic Varisign tokens like PayPal if not a fulling branded one like Bliz/ Square Enix
