Thank you guys for the article, it was really quite enlightening, and I agree with a good number of your points.
To Tired: There are a few strategies to help you stop your K from acting like such a rules lawyer during your wargaming and TCG sessions. I've done all of these to some measure of success when running TTG's and TCG's myself.
1. Upon disagreeing on a rule, the disagreeing parties roll a die, highest roll wins and the rule is set on their terms for the rest of the gaming session. At the end the lawyer can look up the rule if they want, but for the duration of the game it becomes a non-issue.
2. Same as the one up there but with a game of rock-paper-scissors. Best two out of three wins.
3. No one has the rulebook except the GM. If the players have to have a rulebook (as in the case of wargaming), they're only allowed to come to it once during the game. Most wargamers will chose to have a quick rules cheat sheet printed out to remind them of particularly tricky rules and these they can check out as often as they want, but the book itself is offlimits except for that one time. If you're organizing the game, it might behoove you to make cheat sheets yourself so that everyone has the same info.
4. If you stop the game for more than 5 minutes, you lose. This one is particularly useful to have during tournaments as it keeps them moving smoothly and forces the players to use other strategies to settle their differences.
My first horde character was a troll shaman who has been my main for about 4 years and continues to be my favorite character. I like him so much I even wrote a short story about him.
I don't want a new race, we've got plenty as is. I don't want a new class either after the nightmare that DK balancing proved to be. I want to see orcs that look more like the new Thrall and Garrosh, and the rest of the vanilla races pixel count updated.
I would pick Hunter to begin with just for the fact that it's great to solo. Second would be Warlock for the same reason. However, when I introduced my son to WoW I asked him, "Do you want to kill stuff, let stuff hit you, or do you want to keep people from dying?"
When he said "Kill stuff" then I asked "Do you want to do it with spells, bows, or swords?"
It went on like that until he settled on Warlock. I expect he'll get bored of it and try something else until he finds that class that just hooks him.
When I get on a flying mount, I have to take a running start before taking to the skies. Whenever possible, I like to run off an edge and fall off to start my flight. I've done this since BG as I figured as heavy and massive as some of my toons are, the poor wyverns, and later drakes, would have to get some wind under their wings before they could actually take off.
Things that I expect to hear about the next expansion: 1. No new races. Possibly a new class (likely healer or pure DPS). 2. Improved models for the original races as hinted by Garrosh and Thrall's new models. 3. Some sort of Emerald Nightmare playable zone, including leveling areas and raids.
Things I would like to see: 1. Wardrobe system that allows you to wear cosmetic gear on top of actual stat gear. 2. Guild housing. 3. A titan!
What do you guys think? Are these likely, or not so much?

It might not be far-fetched to consider that eventually Blizz is going to have to make vanilla, and maybe even BC as a free download, just so that people who have yet to start the game don't have to shell out ridiculous ammounts of cash just to get caught up.
