Yes, games like Witcher 2 are few and far between these days.

In regards to BG1&2: I suspect they'll just update the infinity engine and not change the original games much. It would not surprise me to see this targeted at tablets. I have GemRB with Baldur's gate 2 running on android and it plays pretty well; however, I do hope a multi-platform approach will be taken

It will be good to roam the wilderness with Minsc and Boo once again, butt-kickin' for goodness.

Because Bioware don't make real RPGs any more, they make fantasy action games for console kiddies.

I still can't get over that 75 hour *average* playtime. That's a huge sign that there are a lot of people out there that not only want to play single-player RPGs, but they are ready to invest a *lot* of time into such games.

Ubisoft really need to get better PR guys. This sort of attitude is exactly why so many people, including myself, refuse to purchase their games.

I'll just go spend my money with companies who don't consider their customer base criminals.

That's so cool; however, I don't think they realise that the cake is a lie.

This looks like it could be really good. I hope they put some effort into realism, especially in terms of bullet drop. This could be the next Sniper Elite :)
