Just a little FYI: RAID is currently defined as Redundant Array of Independent Disks and was previously Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks. I don't recall the acronym ever standing for Redundant Array of Inexpensive Drives.
Both Rogers and Fido (Fido is owned by Rogers) offer iPhone specific data plans. For example, I pay $30 per month for 6GB. Not the best deal in the world but slightly better than $35 for 5GB.
The trick is to call an Apple Store and arrange an appointment with a 'personal shopper'. Apple does, or at least was as of last week, guaranteeing stock for those who make appointments. That is how I recently obtained a 32GB iPhone 3GS. Walk-in customers however were being told that the iPhone 3GS was not in stock.
I'm not getting this. If you drag a .txt file over Text Edit for example and release it, Text Edit opens with the document regardless of whether the 'spring' is active or not. Since you have to release anyway, what avantage does this provide?
There's a free Commodore 64, VIC-20, 128, Plus/4 and PET emulator for Linux, Mac OS X, Windows and many other operating systems. It's called VICE and you can find it here: http://www.viceteam.org/
You want to reclaim memory? Open Terminal, type "top", hit return and then look at the used and free memory. Remember those numbers. Press and hold ctrl and hit c. That will end top and return you to the shell. Enter the following (without the quotes): "du -k ~/ >/dev/null" and press return and when the prompt returns, type "top", hit return and observe the current amount of used and free memory. You'll often see a sizable increase in free RAM.
I've never had any problems with David Watanabe or his shenanigans. You know why? Because I avoid him and his software. The man is an arrogant jerk and as nice as his software looks, it ain't worth the hassle.
