Getting past the fact that this is a crapgame..., Engadget, can you please fix the effing gallery viewer!? It drives me nuts that - 1. It takes two clicks and some luck to get into Hi-Res mode, whatever happened to clickable thumbnails!? 2. The View Fullscreen button is put up at a far place and on my 1366x768 (I know its crap but the best my Ideapad can offer) display I have to painfully scroll to it every single time. A floating over the thumbnail option will be better, or just implement the good old school thumbnail click. 3. Every image scroll adds to the History. Why in Almighty's name would I want to keep on clicking Back to just get back to the article if I flipped through a few thumbnails in the slider!!!?
@baby sea tuna Its kind of tough for me to state (without appearing biased) that the PR division and customer support of MS had been decent enough. In fact it is the reason why there is a good customer base despite the various hardware failures. However, the tech division's lack of interest in making XBOX Live useful outside the US region leaves much to be desired. Most of the new features are not available/applicable in other regions. Not a good strategy IMHO for a console sold globally, considering the Gold service charges are consistent everywhere.
XBOX Live Marketplace is mostly useless in India, given the credit card billing system stopped working after the mandate of Verified By Visa (and Mastercard SecureCode) in 2007. MS hasn't got the system working yet. I was hoping Paypal might be a solution, now that's gone too. The only option left is to buy overpriced MS Points cards by third party vendors, which sucks since they are anywhere between 10%-20% costly over the original set price by MS. Thank you very much MS for leaving India out, considering a significant development of XBOX Live happens out of India, and it has a large customer base too.
@DonClark I guess then you should go subscribe to Gizmodo. Those suckers are worshiping everything Apple in blind faith! Guess, they haven't yet reported the iPad issues every other fair site has covered. So much for fanboyism!
