Good point on zep. Should only bands eligible for the rock n roll hall f fame be considered for rock band standalones? I have to assume that harmoniz will produce what they think will sell. I also feel (especially given the enjoyability of some of the creators network songs) that harmonic have a good handle on what songs make a fun game.
wow, lots of Green Day hate, I'll probably pick this up, we have a weekly rock band night and a bunch of us are green day fans, I prefer the earlier albums but there's listenable stuff across the board.
I used to think that harmonix should "focus more" on the core of the franchise, but clearly they're doing that to a reasonable extent, there's been a major release annually, Lego Rock band gave a breather between 2 and 3, but that's fine, it was fun as hell. As long as the tracks are exportable I'm all for band specific games. I think I'd maybe prefer stuff more along the lines of the ACDC pack but I understand the desire to do full price titles.
