After the great job they did with MNC, you can bet they'll have my money for SMNC. Even if the cash shop is just full of hats, it's still worth it, at least for me, to support such a wonderful team.
err I feel like I should amend that last statement. I don't mean the delays themselves are the reason for a game's success. I mean that they're usually a sign of the way things are going.
Obviously a good game can still get delayed a ton of times and a bad one can just as easily be released without one delay.though.
This isn't about *a* delay though. I understand that games get delayed. It isn't just MMOs either, damn near every game gets delayed at some point...
Wasn't this game supposed to come out multiple times in the past year or something? If not, then you can disregard this comment and the end of my first one. If so, then my statement still stands.
I know they want to add/fix stuff. That's practically the reason to EVERY delay. It's just when something is constantly pushed back, it doesn't exactly spell "we got this under control." If anything, it makes me wonder how many more problems will creep up when the final product is released and potentially millions of people get their hands on it all at the same time...
I'm not writing the game off completely or anything so pump your brakes. I'm just a tad bit skeptical is all as we've seen multiple delays either be the 'death' or the success of a game...usually, and sadly, the former
Well this certainly eases a few of my fears about the game, but an endless stream of continuous delays don't exactly make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...
"Where am I going with this line of thought? If the cash shop plus sub model truly bothers you, stop supporting the games that feature it (and yes, that unfortunately means the majority of new AAA MMORPGs). A lot of you are supporting these games despite bitching on forums about how they suck, elsewise we wouldn't be seeing this business model take over."
My problem exactly.
It's the same problem console game have with dlc. People say they don't like it, but they'll turn around and support it without a second thought. Vote with your wallets people. Say anything you want on forums, but all companies care about is the money you do or do not give them at the end of the day.
Yeah, that's probably my biggest issue at the moment. I would kill for some better font right now. I can still play with the current font, but it's far from what I would call 'comfortable' to read.
