Well, not every Sherlock Holmes case revolved around a murder, and to be honest "it was MURder!" is getting a bit old. Notice that even in the ace attorney games, there is usually a plot above and beyond murder.
I played the original on PC, but I don't think I ever was able to finish it. The time limit was tough, and I couldn't get a hang of the sword fighting. I prefer the sands trilogy in all honesty.
Personally I have an eye for the artwork and the atmosphere in the Prime games. I think my favorite moment has to be my first few minutes exploring the Sanctuary Fortress in Metroid Prime Echoes. The amazing detail (like those little swarming robotic bugs) and combined with the always amazing music made an impression on me. I think that the stranger-in-a-strange-world experience is what makes Metroid different, and i think that particular moment sums it all up for me.
Well, I know I have been visiting the site since before the 360 launched, which was in late 2005. But to be honest I can't recall the exact date. I have come to expect Joystiq to be there for me to get my gaming news, and at this point it's like you have always been there to tell what is happening in the gaming world. I certainly can't remember where I went before for information. Keep up the great work!
Well, I suppose I might trade some in. I have a pc obviously, and I have a nintendo ds, but If I had a sudden ton of ps3 and xbox games drop into my lap, I would trade some in to help me purchase one of said machines, so I could enjoy those games that I keep. I'd keep them all, because I like adding to my game collection, but there is no sense in that If I could not afford a system to play them on. So yeah, that's my two bits.
The whole point, as Will Wright put it, is to create a system where the consumer adds value to the product, or in this case creates the product, for free- no cost to the original game creator. Then you take his idealism and genius and mix in a little EA bloodsucking leech mentality and you get this bull. We are paying them for the game and giving them millions of dollars of what amounts to free development for them but no- they want to hit us all up for change twice at the gate. No thank you.
I was all set to download the creature creator but now I'll wait until the game comes out or EA gets at least one of its hands out of the damn cookie jar. Fat chance.
I am currently working for Mr. Bruckheimer, and I can let you all in on a secret- We are looking at Keira Knightly for the role of Farah, Jeffrey Rush to play the part of the Vizier, and Johnny Depp to play the part of Orlando Blooms father. We are going to be working with Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) to do some really amazing cg effects as well. Also the setting has been changed to the Gulf of Mexico. Stay tuned for more secret updates!!!111!
Note to Nintendo: Welcome to the world of 10 YEARS AGO! Voice chat in video games is now possible!
I am going to play a game of Mario Kart with Nintendo. I am going to text them a message: VOICE CHAT. NOW.
It's bad enough that Brawl doesn't let you talk to your friends. I say we slap a fine on Ninty for every day we have to go without an easy way to talk with friends in game until they fix this glaring problem.
