London thieves pull jewel heist in a Bentley

I agree. Likely the 4-door version of the new "Chromo" (or is it Chrome) coupe. That's how smart these thieves are... everyone thinks they're flossing a Bentley, haha.

I don't know how these supposed vans work, but it's not hard to detect the EM field generated by a TV when its on. They produce massive amounts of radiation, so it's very possible. Glad to say that as an American, I don't have to watch out for these guys. I looked around a little:

The point boils down to your asinine comment about the "draconian" American telecom system. We know its dated infrastructure disallows many of the newest phones intended for smaller markets, but aside from long contractual obligations to carriers (which smart consumers typically bypass), there is nothing exceedingly harsh or severe about the way it operates. The TV tax in the UK however, if proposed in the US, would likely be met with armed resistance. Congrats on slipping through their nets for a whole year...

AutoblogGreen interviews Miguel Celades, sales manager for the Air Car

Jun 11th 2007 11:54PM (Autoblog)
I agree, this simply replaces the air that would be expanded via combustion inside the cylinders with air already compressed from outside of them. While it is an interesting design, does it really reduce the amount of energy required? Well, at least it doesn't spew water vapor all over as a by-product like hydrogen fuel cells. Water vapor is a worse greenhouse gas than CO2, nevermind the ecological implications of all the extra water sloshing around (I thought we were worried about sea-levels rising as the worst by-product of global warming).

There is absolutely nothing to worry about, as long as you don't live downstream...
