Comedy Central is 'Goode' to Mike Judge with new deal

Oct 29th 2009 4:04PM (AOL TV)
Actually. I think it DID get better. I didn't like the first episode, but I was watching it on ABC.com's episode viewer, so it had a buffer of three episodes when I checked it out. And the first episode was absolutely the weakest.

But our tastes might differ, Yet, just the same, it did get a lot better.

How was Conan's last show in New York?

Terrible interviewer? What? It's like with every article Bob Sassone writes, there's something I completely disagree with.

E307: Get body conscious like the Cho Aniki dudes with Wii Fit

Jul 11th 2007 6:35PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I'm very much going to buy a copy of wii fit. That's exactly what I wanted when I get home from work late, the gyms are closed, the weather is poor, and I need to get some excercise into my flabby body. Perfect. I am happy.

It's Official: America Only Wants Crap at the Movies

Apr 8th 2007 12:52AM (Cinematical)
I went to see The Reaping over Grindhouse, because my best friend wanted to see The Reaping without knowing anything about it other than it having Hilary Swank and it's about the 10 Plagues.

I told him to pick the movie because I'm on vacation and I don't care.

Boy was I wrong.

After I went to see that movie over Grindhouse, I was so disgruntled, because that movie was bad. I MEAN BAD.

And if America thinks anyway my friend does, and acts passive like I do, film is in trouble!

An Evening at the Mookie

Oct 26th 2006 3:44AM (Card Squad)
Hi there. I played as Bruceman, and I will be more than happy to tell you my thoughts on the game.

The biggest thing I saw was that the game was filled with poker players that know how to play the game and are passionate about it, unlike many games I play (I play very very low priced games) where many of the people are mostly teenagers, college students, or someone who wants a quick, cheap gambling thrill.

No one in this game is going to rush in to try and beat someone else with a Jack high.

That said the game allowed me to play at a different level than I normally do at a price range that I can afford. So I was happy to get a different challenge and not get my aces busted by two pair (9-4 hole cards) and lose to something legitimate.

That said I still got VERY lucky with certain hands, lost majority of my chips to a coin flip (isn't that how it usually is in the end?) , and sadly faded out when the blinds became too expensive for me as well as the ante. Perhaps I lasted longer than I should've? ;-)

I had fun. I enjoyed it.

Rational gamers choose subsidized hardware, all else equal [update 2]

This editorial is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. This is completely idiotic.

Hold'em Comes to Xbox Live Arcade

Aug 23rd 2006 10:02PM (Card Squad)
I've been playing the xbox live arcade hold 'em. It's pretty brutal. It's a bunch of Halo players going all in every hand. I just played a tournament game there and they were pissed at me for folding until I had something.

I've seen 4 people go all in pre-flop. The fourth person to go all in after the others had 2-7. The hands Were 2-7 off suit, 10-3 suited, J-2 off suit, and Q-7. Queen got a pair of queens and won.

I went into a seizure afterwards.

Poor James. People bash him for hating nintendo. And people bash him for loving nintendo. What is going on?

Wii impressions: Metroid Prime 3

May 10th 2006 9:43PM (Joystiq)
I'm not worried because I'm goint to buy any system I want, I'm probably going to buy 360 later this week now that I'm getting college grad money, a wii since I have money already, and a ps3 since I have a job that makes money.

Point is, people buy things that are a mistake often, doesn't kill them, won't kill us. PSP so far has been a big mistake of a purchase, but I'm doing a-okay without that 250 bones I gave up to get one.

I once bought 200 shirts to sell retail, they never arrived. Company was a hoax. I lost about 300 dollars there. But I'm still here. So I mean... What do I mean? If you want something, get it!:D If it sucks, oh well! Hahaha. Don't listen to me, that's a horrible thought process.

Gordon Freeman goes to Boot Camp on a Mac

Apr 11th 2006 10:46PM (Joystiq)
Personally I am excited by this. I made the switch to macs mostly for my school. Studying an art major, most of the places prefer mac experience over windows, and as a gamer I just ended up playing mostly everything on a console.

The price however, is not that bad for me either because I'm able to get a discount from my school store that will bump the price of the machine back to a more normal computer price, and still allowing me to use the mac OS for my work related things.

However for a more average gamer/computer buyer, the price is always going to be high, so if they want windows, they should just stick to a normal pc. :-)
