The majority of mac users use windows instead of osx? Really? And where did you come up with these factual statements? Let me guess... your crystal ball?

Sony would be a good example of a hardware company. Apple is a software company first and foremost, yes they've always been building their own hardware but their bread and butter is in an ease of use philosophy. Steve Jobs has been oft quoted as saying software is what differentiates Apple from everyone else.

On top of the $100 initial price of anti-virus software, you have to pay an average of $50 annually to renew your subscription, then let's bring in anti-ad-ware and anti-phishing software into the mix and we're talking even more money. I enjoy macs mostly because of their simplicity, granted the pc has alot of the same functionality as a mac, but you don't have to be an advanced computer user to enjoy alot of the basic and more advanced functions of the computer. Alot of the time many features on the the mac will require less steps and know-how to activate successfully, that translates into a more enjoyable user experience.

Are you kidding me? Have you seen the inards of any ASUS product? There are literally hundreds of off-the-shelf pieces of scotch tape holding all the components together, wires criss-crossing, and just a total jumble of components, it's no wonder they crap out so often.

Until Sony gets their act together and release their PSP, PSN portals on PC and Mac they will not be appealing to the masses. What, Mac users don't play Playstation products? And they need to have a new app on the PSP to play music. The XMB is cool but if you have tons of music, going through one loooooong list to get what you want ain't gonna cut it.

Love it, love, it, love it. Ohhh, to solve the world economy, I would allow the greedy entities to fail, or replace their management and a watchdog/whistleblower system to help prevent this from happening again :-) I think.
