Xbox Live uses those ports. All games through XBL do. To be more accurate, this article should list the ports needed for Origin on PC and PSN / BF3 on PSN (Iunno how PSN works).

I am a massive Call of Duty fanboy who thinks that Modern Warfare 3 looks like the first rehash in the franchise and this is still an unconditional buy from me.

Infinity Ward did not give any free DLC for COD4 PC. nVidia sponsored it and released it for free. Thank nVidia, not Infinity Ward.

My thought on freemium games is quite simple:
If I'm going to be nickle and dimed through microtransactions, then I may as well pay nothing up front.

@plbelanger A lot of the bits are extended in some way. EX: Parking lot firefight is twice as long, the QTE sequence is longer, the M249 sequence on the bridge is longer.

But most of it is too familiar to seem interesting or exciting.
