Joystiq, this may be my first comment but I have grown so tired of the awful advertising on your trailers that I feel compelled to comment.
Your advertising is so obnoxious that whenever you post a video, I go out of my way to go watch it on GameTrailers.com.
It is bad enough that you force adverts before the video, but to then put pop up ads inside the video that *cannot be closed* is simply unacceptable. Clicking the "x" button opens a new window/tab with the product inside. This is unacceptable on any level. Not only is it obnoxious, but many times the advertising middleware in these applications do not scan their adverts for malicious viruses and other exploits.
Until you get rid of the pop up ads inside the video, I will not be viewing videos on your site anymore. I hope the rest of JoyStiq community agrees with this. You need to know that this is not acceptable, and your userbase won't put up with it anymore.
I'd rock out to Bad Company 2 (Xbox360) and use the Astros to great effect in combination with DICE's amazing sound mixing to hear enemies splashing up close to me ... that is of course if I could hear them over the Pandora Internet Radio station (set to a channel with some good classic rock like Pink Floyd and some good modern stuff like Three Days Grace - I'm a lover, not a hater) I'd be streaming through the mixamp.
Hopefully I'll be in a full squad of buds rolling through Nelson Bay to make them awe over how clear my voice chat is.
Bulletstorm's latest trailer doesn't care whether or not you're ready for 'the boom'
