For those of you wondering what is that "MegacartE" in France ...

It started as a free loyalty card offering 5% back (every 200€ in games, get 10€ free) - with some extra perks vor valued customers (10€ free for birthday, Invites for their annual videogames convention in Paris , Micromania Games Show)

It got upgraded this year in a three-tiered program ,still free, basic members get 5% + extra points while making a pre-order and accessories , silver members (more than 4 games bought > 25€in a year) have an extra .5% on games/accessories , points while buying a console (a whooping 0.5% saving) - Gold members (more that 8 games bought over 25€ ) get another .5% boost , and points while trading games (2.5% boost) + free voucher for their birthday.


tl;dr : While it may looks like a truly savings rewards program - it's complex , and games are seriously overpriced vs our UK friends, thanks to a SERIOUS lack of competition in the French market.
