Ok, forget I said they were biased towards Nintendo. I don't think they are overall more biased towards one company, but I do feel that franchise nintendo games in general are overly favored do to nostalgia. I just finished reading the Kotaku review and it's the same story- the controls are bad AND painful but you need to play this game. Ok, so we all run out to buy a pretty game because nostalgia rules, but in reality the game won't last long as an investment and gamers will move onto something else quickly BECAUSE IT HURTS YOUR HAND TO PLAY.
6 paragraphs describing how bad the controls suck, 1 paragraph saying you all of a sudden love them (yeah right, and I love PSP's attempts to compensate for the lack of a 2nd analog) and the game scores a 4.5?? There is no denying that reviewers at large are insanely Nintendo biased. Sad but true.
@Asakura H I assume you say it's a gimmick because you never tried it. Play FIFA and get back to me. If anything, it makes MORE sense to have one big beautiful multitouch screen and rear multitouch than having 2 screens you have to swich between, especially when one is 3D and the other is resistive
Only a totally blind fanboy will argue that the 3DS is better than the Vita. Nintendo totally failed in this most crucial (possibly final) handheld generation. Dedicated handhelds are supposd to provide far superior control in order to stand out from the smartphone/tablet market, but Nintendo didn't get the memo.
