@Banstyle As has been said Doom 3 was a reboot and not a sequel. To be honest I loved Doom 1 and 2 but Doom 3 sucked despite having great graphics and atmosphere. I mean a marine that can't hold a torch and a pistol at the same time?

So World at War was just DLC for Modern Warfare? Black Ops was just DLC for MW2? Yes the MW franchise started to get repetitive but that's Infinity Ward where as Treyarch seem to be getting better and better with each release.

@Vic Fontaine To be honest you ain't missing much. The graphics in Doom 3 were good but the game it's self was a bit of a let down. I mean a fully trained space marine that can't hold a torch and a pistol at the same time :-/

@Apex Omega Because people don't want to be buying a new console every 2 years possibly? How much did your gaming rig set you back? How often are you upgrading parts of it?

I didn't hear about the first game until I had my 360. I got it because xbox.com listed it as being one of the original games that would work on the 360. Then you read the small print that it's only guaranteed to work on the American 360. Boooo.

Anyway looking forward to this.

Looking at the trailer I would of said they were either going for the Gears of War fan base or tapping in to the Devil May Cry fan base rather than CoD.
