Betcha 20 bucks its e-ink or the like. Segmented LCD is likely to large and doesnt offer the persistence of graphic elements when there is no power.

I just have the A720IS and agree, very nice camera and takes good pics. I just picked up a sd770 elph because I wanted a smaller form factor. I was expecting much higher noise levels due to the higher MP (10 in the case of 770). I was quite surprised the find that the noise seems to be much better dealt with. Its likely due to in-camera noise reduction, but it is very high quality. Images dont seem to have lost their sharpness. I think these cameras look great for entry level.

The 30-second skip forward gets auto-mapped to the >>| button if it is anything like my Comcast remote ;)

Watched an airing last night, it was actually pretty good. They basically did three pieces, once about the use of video-games by the US government for training and recruitment, one about a Syrian made game (state supported) that has you fighting the Israeli army (creepy stuff), and finally a piece on whether or not video games contribute to violence in teens (our buddy Jack Thompson showed up in that one). The quality was high and it was much less sensationalized than a lot of the coverage that these subjects get in the States (the show is Canadian produced). The next one is about MMO stuff, I am looking forward to it.
