boo-hoo! ANOTHER maker of "me-too" fps bites the dust... WHY SO SURPRISED?
-I can not wait for idiots to start blaming nintendo and the Wii for yet another "hardcore" publisher dying. Funny thing is, IF most of the dead pubs would have tried to make a PRETTY GOOD AND COMPELLING game, instead of JUST A PRETTY (to look at) game, they would probably still be in business.

So what do we(as gamers) do now? I mean, I am as sick and tired of all this bullshit as anyone else, and I don't care about the attacks, I care about the scapegoating! the blaming of videogames in the decay of our so-called society? what about absent parents? crappy schools? non-existent social services? PAY ATTENTION. I know most of the people who started reading this post are gone as soon as anyone even IMPLIES activism. but you know what? THAT IS THE ONLY WAY we as gamers are going to be able to defend ourselves. DO SOMETHING (like write tons and tons of emails to the media companies who do shit like this) or stop buying crap from places like walmart or mcdonalds (two companies who blame VGs, one on violence, one on obesity... THE FUCKING NERVE!)

I agree with JT about the Wii being a lollipop to him(and SONY for that matter) a giant lollipop of a cock that they are so bitterly swallowing waiting for the moment it explodes on their faces. what a effin moron!

I used to work for ALL the major retailers(gamestop when it was still Babbage's, EBgames when they rocked and Game Crazy just recently...). I left the industry about 2 years ago DISGUSTED with the state of things. yes, there are SOME great games out there, BUT for every GOW or Zelda, how many AWFUL games are out there??? FUCK! I can tell in one hand the number of times I have had a MAGICAL TIME(akin to reading a good book or watching an awesome movie) playing a videogames! as a former insider and after seeing the countless number of NUMBNUTS buying the crap that is madden or tomb raider or sonic year after year after year, I wholly agree with EVERYTHING DVDE has to say about the games industry.
There are a FEW game companies who really care about making a great game. and EVERY one of them cares about making money but the blame for all the inventory and price gouging falls entirely on the retailers. people bitch about walmart and starbucks killing the little people(THEY DO, THESE FUCKERS ARE EVIL) the Gamestop effect may be fucking the game industry...

ALL these "out of control" kids are NOT out of control because of the games, or TV or movies or even music. The one problem they all share is the lack of parents, lack of parental skills or (in the vast majority of cases) plain awful incompetent and moronic parent(sorta like bush in iraq). I laugh everytime I see these dumb F*ck$ whine about their kid's 'outrageous' behaviour... had I put a hole on my wall(for any reason) my mom would have kicked my ass and my dad would have made me fix it. I think awful thoughts sometimes, and sometimes I act out on them (like cursing someone out on the road) but I learned respect and MAJOR social skills from my parents...
I think they did a pretty good job.
