Glad the updated the standard Sprint PowerPoint template...rocking the Copyright 2006 at the bottom.

Kindle coming to Target on April 25?

Apr 7th 2010 5:26PM (Engadget)
This would be a HUGE impact to Amazon and most Amazon customers. Currently Amazon doesn't charge sales tax for everyone, only in states where they have a brick and mortar presence. So only where they have offices or warehouse/shipping facilities do they have to charge sales tax. With Target in every or nearly every state that would mean that carrying the Kindle would force Amazon to charge sales tax in every state. That would be HUGE to many customers and most likely to not be offset by Kindle sales. I live in a state where they charge sales tax but for many others this would make other online retailers more attractive.

Motorola i1: we've seen it, it runs Blur, and it'll likely be out soon

@skyblaze Boost also uses the Sprint CDMA 3G network. The most reliable 3G network. Amazing price for great coverage, speed, and service for non-smart phones

@RockNStuff Moto OWNS the iDEN technology. They created a proprietary tech and network and hold all PTT users (that need real time push to talk) hostage.

Microsoft's Courier 'digital journal': exclusive pictures and details (update: video!)

Lets find a way to get the stylus inside the closed case, custom stylus support (finish / material / design). Also need the ability for it to have a great external finish that is very durable, like metal or glass...with some nice little machined details that would allow for folks to attach a leather, fabric, rubber, pleather, paper...and maybe even use it to add some real paper to the "back". So a nice leather 1.2" thick book with say 50 pages of replaceable paper behind the device.

I would love to have a chance to work on this device.

Glad to see that the keyboard doesn't match the leaked core Chassis Keyboard mapping rules. Wondering what the Windows Phone 7 team is has up their sleeve for the beyond novel layout rules.

PCWorld ranks AT&T tops in 3G performance test

How about you call out Sprint as the Most Reliable...that is what it says clear as day!!!. Yes AT&T is fast but spotty and fast is no real win.

HTC Hero review

Jul 23rd 2009 4:26PM (Engadget)
Joshua,

Can you please share how the trackball function on the homescreen? I have seen it not function as a selector, standard function throughout the device UI, but instead as a way to horizontally scroll between desktops. I would love to know how this implementation works, does Sense UI break the interaction model for the home screen with the trackball, from the rest of the device?

I would love to know how this works, I know a video would be to much but am very very interested for future Android devices.

Thanks!!!
