I applaud your hard work on this, and belive that it should be recognized as admirable to bring a convoluted attempt at storytelling into an understandable format.

That said...

Final Crisis was the reason I cancelling all but a couple of my DC subscriptions. The fact that even this article recognizes that, what was supposed to be a major portion of it, Countdown To Final Crisis was a complete waste of time. While I occasionally dip a reading toe into the DC pool now and again, I avoid like the plague anything that touches any one of their "big events".

Luckily I have lots of pre-July 2008 DC comics to enjoy. "Polarizing"? What makes you say that? ;)

Okay, am I the only one who thinks this is a little creepy? I mean, I've had by pic taken on teh convention floor after getting an autograph, but the whole "Olan Mills" type setting jst seems like stalker fodder...

I gave up on daily newspaper strips several yearsback when our local paper kept cancelling my favorites for one panel gag/commentary strips. Go figure that I also stopped getting the newspaper.

My local paper did not carry Funky Winkerbean, but you have made me want to did up whatever I can find. I absolutly love the Deadman strip (had what DC has been doing with him, but that is a different rant). Yeap, now I got new reading material to hunt up! Thanks!

Pelé. The man introduced the world to soccer, and even now is a great ambasador to the sport. PURE CLASS and aone of the true greats.

But, the action of jumping a speed boat and firing a rocket launcher still beats all the others!

But, I have to say the firetruck vs plane is also an excellent trailer. Eveytime I see it I want to see a collision!
