Apr 19th 2006 1:25PM (Engadget)I think the 240x240 screen is a limitation of Windows Mobile. The same thing happened with the 700w; for some reason, WM5 can't handle 320x320, even though it can do 320x240 just fine.
And I would submit that "tried" in lieu of "tired" would actually be somewhat harder to find, because it won't show up in most spelling/grammar checks.

For starters, abandoning tens of millions of millions of potential customers is never a particularly good idea.
Next, consider the possibility that this concept could gain traction in other European nations. The longer Apple drags its heels, the more it stands to lose.
