It makes perfect sense. The games weren't selling why make more when your just gonna loss money.

I would much rather have HL3 then another episode. The last half life game they did kinda looks dated now. If they re do the engine (which i thinks been rumored) will most likely cause them to make a full game rather then an episodic one.
