About the only thing nice I can say about Rat Race is I'm glad something of this genre is coming to PSN. Unfortunately, this particular game looks horrible, from the writing in the trailer to all the blurbs about it. It strikes me as what I'd expect from a bunch of stand-up comics (as opposed to one good one). I might give the first episode a try if I'm feeling generous though.

Again, I really wish Penny-Arcade Adventures was coming to PSN. It's coming out on pretty much every other platform (Windows, Mac, Linux, xbox 360). Or Sam & Max. That would make me happy too.

Tilt controls are probably heavily encouraged for PSN games, but don't forget Super Stardust HD doesn't use tilt for anything. Thank God. Steering a car with tilt sounds like a recipe for disaster, sadly.

Disclaimer: I love Super Rub-a-Dub and would kill for a decent Super Monkey Ball clone on the PSN using tilt controls. I just believe in using tilt where appropriate.

Basically, we're probably never going to get the game everybody really wants from the Wii, so we're stuck with waggle. So instead of giving freedom of movement, we're given the illusion but we've lost the accuracy of normal controllers. Great.

So until someone makes a 1:1 sword-fighting game for the Wii, as far as I'm concerned it's just a Gamecube with one of the analog sticks not working quite right. Kinda like the half the GC controllers I own now...

Not even video playlists? *Smacks forhead*. Oh well, I won't bag on Sony too much, after all, their poor blog is going to discover how ugly people on the internet can be when they don't get a feature they want.

Oh my, this could get ugly. I'm still a touch surprised there's no mention of a BD 1.1 profile, so I'm hoping there's still some stuff left. I don't suppose you could let us know when your NDA is up, or do you not want to melt your poor webserver? ;)

We know it'll have remote on/off via PSP remote play. That's 100% certain thanks to the PSP 3.72 leak.

About 99% certain that it'll have BD 1.1 due to various hints from Sony people.

95% that it'll have in-game XMB

Might have:

in-game video chat with PS Eye
custom soundtracks
Use Eye to navigate XMB.

New XMB background animations would be nice, as would icon themes

And I dare to dream they remove ps2 region coding (for ps3s that can actually play them).
