Ummm, excuse me mister reviewer, but "Soul Calibur" is by far the best in the series. Lest we forget.

So... what I take from this article is that Bastion has an awesome narrator, great art style and fantastic soundtrack! That makes it #5 in GOTY list for Joystiq? Am I missing something here? Even with all those those things, if it still plays like Diablo or even Devil May Cry.... is it really that great? Is visual art style and budget limitations the sole criteria? Is this a game that thousands of people will be playing and still playing years from now?

The core gameplay was just a dungeon crawler and that class of game never appealed to me. Sure there are those who like it, but not for me. And I seriously doubt that non-dungeon crawler players would likely be converted by "Bastion"

I'm sorry but I strongly disagree with this choice.

I completely agree that Dead Space 2 is a gaming accomplishment by EA that really disappoints me that it was overlooked. That opening scene was burned into my memory for weeks. The sheer terror I felt walking around every corner, or walking through every door.

The only gripe I have against it was the last level and the last boss. It felt lacking and it just didn't fit in with the rest of the game.

Weird. usually when I read about a game receiving this much collective praise from the gaming community I'm quick to jump aboard the bandwagon, but this game.... just. looks. bad. No thank you.

Honest review. I appreciate that. I must say that i'm a little disappointed but it's good to know that honest reviews are out there which aren't tarnished or influenced solely on the awesomeness of the Dead Island preview released in Feb.
