There is no clear definition of violence??? Jesus flippin' christ man did you watch this clip or not? This isn't someone attacking your right to go buy a violent video game here so long as you're the right age. It's about moral obligation as adults to not let this kind of crap get in the hands of kids.

Like it or not people there has got to be a limit. It makes me cringe to think there are kids under 17 playing this game.

Not compatible with my 3GS? Bummer... looks like I'll really have to upgrade.

That's two straight wins in a row for Nintendo at E3. Impressed. Games like this make me want a 3DS but I still can't bring myself to buy a handheld.

I think the show was long overdue for a more structured podcast.

Really?! Really Joystiq?! MK is a better game than Portal 2? That's your testimony you're going to stick with?

Are you guys even trying anymore? based on this review i don't understand what is innovated and new? To me it seems like any half-witted developer can create a solid fighting game these days, take for example Deadliest Warrior. Rating MK higher than a game like Portal which pushed the boundary on it's game engine and imagination and delivered something totally UNIQUE that was fun and challenging? this only pushes the boundaries on how fast you can execute a combination of button presses. I like fighting games but not enough to cloud my judgement on rating IP's that are the 9th installment in a title that is 20 years old and really just draws from elements of all it's brethren in the same genre.

You guys just dropped down on my scale of credibility. Now you're just crazed fanboys from the other side of the cafeteria.

I understand i'll be down-voted simply because Joystiq's readers are unable to handle objective criticism.

this review is a turd

Playing through Dragon Age 2. Just began the 3rd act. Also been enjoying YDKJ.

Left 4 Dead 2 has a really well made map in beta right now. Playing that on Steam is fun. Excited to see how the finished product will look.

We need a mobile port of this title! I'd love to play this on my iPhone.
