Torchlight XBLA review: All the loot, half the noise

@Typhonic

It's of no surprise that you're down voted because you disagree with the reviewer.

Torchlight. I could have sworn it was made by Gameloft as it's just a clone of Diablo stripped of the story and given a cheaper name. The only depth to this game is literally how deep you can go into a dungeon.

1 town... many, many levels of dungeons. If you're addicted to mindlessly clicking your left and right mouse buttons then this is a dream come true. I would never recommend this game to anyone outside of this genre.

$15? I guess if I was rich and loved throwing my money away. You'd be better off playing something like Borderlands.

I'm very excited to see this kind of game being developed. Anything to introduce my kids to gaming in a positive way is number one for me.

I have to say, I didn't know anything about this game. I stayed away from all the previews because I liked Dead Space 1 so much. This intro completely took me aback. I wasn't expecting to get completely, shocked/grossed out. This was a very interesting article to read. Thanks Joystiq.

Eternal Darkness concept art shows endings that could have been

Amen! This was the only game that actually got use out of my Gamecube for the short amount of time I owned one.

The bugs crawling on the screen tripped me out! Nothing like that had ever been done before. I'm really surprised there hasn't been a remake or anything yet.

Oh, I'm sorry if me calling you "kids" made your butt hurt.

With all the fact-less trash talking about Android being so much better than iPhone it's become tiresome. It's trying to justify that your phone is better than mine when no one even brought the subject up.

Like it or not, time to face reality, "kids". Apple was the innovator here. Without them do you really think you'd even have an Android?

Agree to disagree...

Yeah... so... basically what I said without all the hot air.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 review: The premier in button-mashing mash-ups

@ZForce915

My thoughts exactly. From a guy who is pretty closed up on the fighting genre this review was a big surprise.

But to be honest, the staff for this site put up reviews based on what the individual playing it feels. Ratings are based on personal opinions and not on unbiased facts, which is why I preferred Joystiq's old way of reviewing titles with no rating.

Take it for what it's worth.

Rocksteady confirms Batman: Arkham City will be 'single-player only'

Feb 14th 2011 12:12PM (Joystiq)
In order for a multiplayer component to succeed with this kind of game it would have to be something outside the norm. Something a la AC:BH kind of innovation.

I'm still really excited to play this game regardless.
