That was a Spartan III as it even showed Spartan III in the clip. Most of Noble team are Spartan III's except for the Spartan you play which is a Spartan II. The Spartan III's are your mass production model spartan. They joined the Spartan program at a older age(most by their free will since they are orphans from the covie war) and are given less training and enhancements and weaker armor so they have a higher turn over rate. One other think that is different about them is they are given a drug during their augmentation that makes them go a little crazy while keeping them performing at peak even when they are fatally wounded untill they give in to their injury. So don't go confusing the Spartan II's specs with the Spartan III's. You can read the novel Ghosts of Onyx to find out all about the Spartan III program.

Snuffmuffin is wrong, the mount scales to the riding skill of each character, if you don't have epic flying on a character then the mount will not fly at epic speed for that character.

when it tells you how long you are going to be in the quene that is just an estimate and it most cases wrong. i quene'd up and it told me 4 hours, when i was just over 12k in the quene and it took around 30-45 mins.

The mount is actually the same as a reward for killing the LK on heroic 25 mode but with a different skin. With this mount all the characters on your account and future characters created will get this mount in their mail box. So that means you never have to buy another mount ingame again and this mount scales up with your riding skill. 25$ seems a little steep but your basicly buying a cool looking mount for all your characters present and future and its 1 of 2 mounts that can function as a ground mount in places you can't fly.

i don't get why everyone seems to dislike Knaak. I've liked all the warcraft books hes writen and just finished Stormrage yesterday and the only gripe i had about it is was that he used the word dread too much and it made some sentences sound weird. other then that great book.
