Worldwide contests are great.

Poll: 480i vs. 480p, what will the people be using?

Nov 7th 2006 8:18PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
@cubeboy and David,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm almost certain that the PAL Cube ran at 480p when using progressive scan. So the choice was interlacing or higher resolution. This may have been fixed, but my choice is made for me by my elderly TV, so I haven't really looked into it.

None of the above. 576i is currently my only option, PAL FTW.

Absolutely none. All my friends are sadly either Sony fanboys or non-gamers.

Definitely the standard accessories that everyone gets- extra controllers, wireless headset etc. I may invest in the HD-DVD drive at some point in the future, but I see no compelling reason to move on from DVD just yet.

Alan Wake looks very cool. Not sure if it's coming out this holidays though.

Revolution to launch with 20 titles?

Apr 9th 2006 1:05AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
From memory, the Gamecube had 20 titles available when it launched in Australia, although thats probably a function of the launch being close to 6 months behind the US. I'm not sure about US launch numbers

God I love freshly roasted coffee, but commercial machines just cost far too much. This made my day, the coffee doesn't taste half bad either.
