I read this review and it's like being in the bizarro world.
The game is so bad it seems more like an April Fool's joke than a serious game effort. The graphics are bad, the action is lame, it gives no feel for the King Kong experience.
Vlad writes about video games. Vladimir, is your writing bad?
"He's pulling punches out of self-interest! Because McKenna wants to curry favor with future employers, he's refraining from writing honestly and is therefore guilty of the very same conflict of interest he accuses others of. Oops. If games "journalists" want to be considered serious journalists, they'll have to break themselves of that nasty habit."
He is refraining from writing honestly, and refraining from naming names. But what journalists don't refrain? How often does a NY Times writer criticize the NY Times or another publication? People have to eat and pay their bills. Not burning bridges is a good career strategy.
Ever hear of a keyboard and mouse? For the top twitch FPS games no controller is going to beat it. It uses six or seven finger control plus axis control with the mouse. They don't get confused, they just execute moves that nobody holding a control pad can execute.
Are you saying TSN stole DirecTV's 'new' technology and used a time machine to take it back to 1999?
This 'new' technology has been announced a number of times over the years. And yes, TSN and others have been broadcasting with in game cameras and interviews etc. for a long time.
