Wow. Reminds me of the first version of Twilight Princess. Saving in a specific room caused you to not be able to move to the next room. D'oh!

I don't think I could buy nearly enough Square Enix games to warrant such a thank you gift. What does one a year on average get you? =p

Apple keeps antennagate alive with Droid X's 'kill switch' (video)

So Apple's defense in all this is simply "because every other phone on the market does this, it's okay for the iPhone 4 to do it as well"? Sounds like someone's trying to pass the blame or something.

NPD: PC retail and digital distribution sales reaching parity

Jul 22nd 2010 5:01AM (Joystiq)
@Godmil I think D2D does, but I'd feel safer buying from Steam. Valve/Steam is less likely to disappear and leave a sinkhole where your games used to be.

For me though, retail first. After that, unless I'm buying a Blizzard game, it's Steam hands down. Cool thing about Blizzard, and to a limited extent Steam, is that they allow you to add your game key to your online account thus giving you a the digital product as well. No other distributor does that.

I remember playing Prince of Persia a bit on the SNES. Sands of Time is still the best if you ask me. Xbox 360.
