Please, get your facts straight. The bill has not passed the House of Representatives yet (or the senate) - it was introduced yesterday but a coalition MP sent it to an inquiry (which can take anywhere from a day to several months).

Also, the bill _does_ make it a federal rating, but the states will have to pass legislation to allow the sale of R rated games.
(All the ratings are at the federal level, but it's up to each state to enforce them.)

It is in fact an awesome game - it's a better teaching tool than RB3's Pro Mode (though neither catered properly to me - an absolute beginner - it's nice to know how to do some of these things with my guitar, but a little reassurance that I'm holding it the right way would be nice). I think it's awesome that I can use my RB3 Stratocaster with it.

Now, Ubisoft, what do you have to do? Release it in Australia already! The 360 version is region locked, and since the PS Store is region locked, I can't get DLC in my imported PS3 copy.

Which one do I buy? Easy. The government I didn't vote for isn't letting me buy MK, so my choices are limited.

@ELKMoz Regional pricing. Blame the publishers, they want their $$$ and you can either love it or shove it. But they figure that because some of us are in a country where we can't get Mortal Kombat we should pay more for the games that we can get.

This won't matter to me, as I'm Australian, and apparently we're all dribbling babies who need Customs to make sure we don't get into things like the poison cupboard or games with a bit of blood.

@3: GoW is fun. It's a bit of a shame how many games have copied it though.

@5: AssBro isn't a 2011 (console) game either, although there is a PC port scheduled for release in Q1 (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-11-10-ubisoft-debunks-pc-ac-brotherhood-date).
