Because shipped is number they know where as retail sales figures are an estimation. Most all companies report shipped as sold even if they don't specify.

No, its not. Bonus cars are cool but I've got at least 10 cars in my garage that will tear these cars to pieces. Don't get me wrong, Id love to get my hands on that M3 to finish off my BMW collection but I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch crying about it.

Wow are you ladies the majority shareholders of MS and Sony or do you all just like to bitch and moan this much? Who gives a rats ass as long as you are having fun with either one and the company is supporting it. In this case its a win win because both platforms have seen success and games for it are being developed.
