Amazon discount sparks chart-topping sales of Deadly Premonition

@ Eastman - the game was already selling above expectations before Giantbomb. Word-of-mouth and Destructoid's review helped it a lot.

I'm laughing at the fact that you would buy Sonic 4. Good luck with all that.

If you play an MMO you pretty much deserve something like this.

If you actually bother to read his review you'll notice that he is being incredibly accurate. His score is based on the merit that the game is actually fun to play, and doesn't bother letting it's technical shortcomings hold it back.

If you just can't dig deep enough to give Deadly Premonition 20 dollars, you're a horrible person. A horrible person whose punishment is missing out on one of the greatest games of 2010, and possibly all time.

Wow you're going for broke with the straw grasping then. Analog is analog, regardless of how it controls. It doesn't matter if its a mainstream controller or not, Sony was doing double sticks while consoles were still in the diaper phases of analog (which Dreamcast clutched onto up until its horrific death).

I know you like SEGA a lot, but your arguments are literally becoming "YEAH NO, WELL UH, Y'SEE UM - WAIT HOLD ON I URGH..."

PS: Atari developed the first analog stick controller in the 80's for home use. I can continue making you eat your own words if you want to keep grasping for straws. Get back to me.

Nope, sorry. Sony developed the FlightStick which was dual analog in 95, followed by the Saturn's Nights into Dreams pack-in controller. Analog technology existed long before that in arcades (joysticks believe it or not are still analog).

Keep looking through those rose tinted glasses. It won't make you anymore right though.

Also claiming that credit should be given to SEGA is still very tenuous since they seldom got anything right. The reason they don't make consoles anymore stems from a long history of failed choices and poor marketing.
