Holy ****. Really, I have been excited about Zelda Wii (My favorite franchise, hands down), and thinking about Metroid recently. I haven't seen much coverage on SMG2 in the last month. I just knew it would be good and I would buy it.

But then I suddenly see 5 perfect score reviews from significant sources and I'm quite impressed. If I didn't have so many other things to buy this would be a great end of school gift to myself.

But thankfully, this is a game I can pick up in 6 months and still have a great experience.

But the original Zelda really hasn't aged well... LttP is another story, but the original, while still WORTH playing, really isn't great anymore, and hasn't been for almost a decade.

This game looks really cool, but LoZ hasn't stood the test of time like LttP has. THAT's a freaking timeless game.

Certainly. I won't argue the quality of the games. The online was a big progression, but of course the single player is little changed. I'm just arguing the quality of new pokemon. Because if I already have a game with good online and lots of pokemon, why should I buy the new version if I don't like the pokemon?

I trust that there will be enough change in pokemon and some other areas to draw me back. I'll go for the "Gray" edition probably. I only hope the story for Gen V is more original.

Mewtwo is boss. Zoroark looks like the werehog. And that's bad memories.

I gotcha, Sonos, I just think that fewer and fewer of the designs are really interesting or fun. I likes quite a few Gen III pokes, but I have to say that Gen IVs pokes were a bit of a letdown to me. A hundred new monsters and only a dozen I think are really good.

The pokemon cries and battle animation in the G/S remakes are way below par on what I want and what it could be. I can only stare at the exact same sprite for so long before I notice the lack of actual attack. And those cries were not good. And the story needs some freshening up.

It is broke, now please fix it before this simple leak becomes a burst pipe flooding the house.

Sorry, Chuck. I think you need a new Intersect update to fix this recognition problem.

Hey. I said I was partial to some Hoenn pokemon. I can't live without ma mudkipz.

I dunno about all pokemon after 251 being bad. I'm partial to a few Hoenn pokemon myself. I'd say half the Hoenn pokemon and almost all of Gen IV can go die. But leave some behind.

But yeah... Original 151 for life. They are the best of the bunch.

Zoroark? Not very promising I must say, but kinda cool. I think Gen IV got carried away with its legendaries. Too many, too crappy. None as cool as Mewtwo. I hope Gen V doesn't do the same.

I hope battle is no longer a basic slideshow. AHattiehat the story mixes things up a little.

I know they want to welcome new players, but surely they realize 7 million of their customers are returning vets.
