I've seen the shortened version (showing Nintendogs and blonde on the bus only) often, didn't seem to be tied into particular shows. Our version of Dancing With the Stars is on the BBC which doesn't show ads, so no chance of a tie-in there

The apple store is still up, doesn't it usually get taken down before new products are announced? Does this mean it's a software only announcement?

The scroll works by dragging, not clicking. I had no trouble seeing it! Bad day at the engadget office?

Only 1 person seems to have mentioned the obvious - updates to the Nano line. They've not available on the Apple UK online store for 3 days, coincidence? I think 4gb and 8gb versions will replace the current 2gb and 4gb, with maybe smaller spec updates too. Ebuyer have been frantically selling off the current Nanos, so I guess they're old tech needing cleared out
