If you've every played DDR, there are plenty of slow songs in it that work out fine. Slow songs still have a beat you can follow.

Report: Capcom sees 'no distinction' between on-disc and off-disc DLC

Apr 3rd 2012 3:54PM (Joystiq)
@Draugdraugr This is the most ridiculous argument I've heard. 1)The game industry and the movie industry are incomparable in most senses, especially sales. You can't subscribe to a movie and watch new content for months like a MMO, you would NEVER pay 60 dollars for a movie, movies aren't interactive. They are designed to give you 2 hrs of entertainment, while you would never pay for a 2 hr game

2)No one is paying to release "the next 5 minutes" of the game. The game is COMPELTE. DLC is not necessary to complete the game. it is EXTRA CONTENT that if you wish, you can pay for. Just because the content is thought up at the same time the game is released doesn't mean anything. Using your own analogy, plenty of movie sequels are thought up and partially filmed when the first movie comes out (LOTR, the Star Wars, Harry Potter) no one flips their sh!t about being ENTITLED to the rest of the movie experience and being forced to pay for sequels.

Then you blame MS for a practice being used by Publishers across 3-4 game consoles? OK, just stop

Report: Capcom sees 'no distinction' between on-disc and off-disc DLC

The reasoning they give for it being on disc, to make whatever easier and so everyone can play, is bullsh!t, but they are right about the two forms being the same. DLC doesn't mean content that completes the game, or content that they didn't have time to put in the game. Its separate data/gameplay/whatever they made that would make the game better but is not needed to play the game. It doesn't matter how long before launch the content was thought up or finished. So everyone yammering about "i only want complete games" can gtfo because DLC doesn't compelete a game - or it shouldn't, like first day patches that have become so common place - they augment the game.

You are not 'entitled' to anything. What your PAYING for is the game they finished and released. If that game isn't worth it, then don't buy

Why is it when CoD releases another of their yearly pieces of crap, everyone is on board to pay for 12 months of DLC UPFRONT, before they even know what it will be, but when any other game allows for DLC, everyone rallies the internet against them? Your logic is so backwards it hurts.

Capcom is messed up alot, releasing 4 versions of SF4, releasing the FIXED version of MVC3 as an entirely new game, putting the least amount of work into DMC4 and then letting the series die, but DLC is not a way they, or any other currently developer messed up. Everything changes, games included. You don't have to buy the DLC but you do have to deal with it

It's not about FF13 being better than one game or another in the series, I just like it a lot and, lets be real, what game has SE made since KH that people have liked as much as their favorite single digit FF?

My point in the comment is that I like that what they're doing is pissing off the people who write 13 off and rage about it, since those people piss me off. Plus, SE pretty much desperately needs the money that they're making off of DLC for 13-2; so thats another thing that pisses some ppl off that I'm glad for
