Editor hyptonized; reviews Narnia as a 10-year old

Feb 21st 2006 6:23PM (Joystiq)
well. being the mashochist i am....

i bet he would live for 13 summers with chocolate bears on kodiac... er... 'klondike' island. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0427312/)

but alas, in the middle of a heated game of pgr3 (where he is handily having his ass handed to him by harley, the klondike bear -- a rough fellah), he would regretfully take a bite out of their chocolate xbox 360 (http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archive/2006/02/21/533353.aspx) in a raucous rift of rage, thus, necessitating his gobbly "death by chocolate."

such a tragic end to one so yummy young.

Sony's Cell: "programming nightmare" or "far less complicated"?

Feb 7th 2006 12:23PM (Joystiq)
"and of course this isn't NEWS (thank you joystiq for yet another rehashed story you bums)"

um. last time i checked joystiq wasn't a 'news' site. i think you're looking for gamespot.

this is a blog. it's about 'opinion' on the news. not posting the news itself. if you're looking for rewritten (or flat-out plagerized) press releases, you might want to hang out on a 'news' site.

Joystiq Interview: SMARTBOMB authors Heather Chaplin and Aaron Ruby

Jan 25th 2006 6:58PM (Joystiq)
yep. well done. fun, flowing, conversational. just like the book. nice work, cg.

i just finished the book a week or so ago. great read. went fast. like they say, it's more of a narrative story piece as opposed to dry history. highly recommended.

Nintendo VP Reggie Fils-Aime issues fight'n words

Jan 19th 2006 12:09PM (Joystiq)
Vagabond Artist: what the hell are you thinking? we can't have any rational posts on a reggie thread! making level-headed predictions is sooooooooo over. the future belongs to nintendo! microsoft will stop making hardware all together and every pixel on every psp will die! ninty rules! go reggie! i want to be miyamoto's slave!

*sigh*

i think you are absolutely correct.

nintendo's hardware and a few playable games will steal the show. microsoft's second wave games will come in a close second. sony will still have hardware under glass.

we'll know for sure in may.

p.s. if you don't have your hotel yet, man, get one fast.

Geometry Wars trial downloaded over 200K times

i don't know about identical to retail. $500 + $40 shipping is still substantially more than walking down the street and paying $399.

and, as far as not selling, i dunno about that either. the auctions closing within the hour (yes, i know. i have too much time on my hands....) have an average of 20.6 bids.

looks like they are selling to me.

no doubt. as long as there are public forums to post opinion, there will be trolls.
