From most of the previews I've seen, most people who play it think Classic Sonic is very faithful to the original Genesis games.
I also really enjoyed Colors (best Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2 in my opinion), but after Generations I think it would be nice to see a truly 3D Sonic game. I personally consider Colors (and Unleashed's daytime levels) to be 2.5D, because you never have full freedom of where to go. You turn every now and then, but for the most part you are just moving forward or swtiching to 2D. It's fun, but I'd like to see a return to the 3D platforming style of Sonic Adventure 2.
That being said, I think Generations can potentially be the best Sonic game since the Dreamcast (or even Genesis) days. As long as they DON'T. MESS. UP.

Wii Play Motion comes out tomorrow? Wow, that was quick. Wonder if it's any good.

Disappointing update :(. I was excited to see if Nintendo could make up for Other M. Well, I hope we see some new surprise.

@Arcaria I agree, but Disney Land was the original theme park, so I guess they wanted to go for the one that revolutionized amusement parks first.

@endgamer77 i agree that no Sonic game this year has sucked. All-Stars Racing was awesome even though it wasnt a core Sonic game. Sonic 4 disappointed me alot but it was still good. And this looks to be the best Sonic game since Adventure 2. i really hope this means the Sonic Cycle is broken forever!

i still love Sonic Adventure 1, but even i can admit that its only because of nostalgia (and awesome music). Colors may be the first awesome Sonic console game since Sonic Adventure 2, and may most likely top that. i really hope its good, cuz its gonna be my birthday present!

gotta get this for christmas so i can save for the 3ds. but it looks like this cant be missed!

Love this game, but why don't they add the one feature everyone complains about not being in there??? We are the consumers, and we want online play!
Oh well. Dodgeball and VS sound pretty cool anyway
