Anyone who hasn't should go and read Options. It is the most disturbingly accurate work of fiction I've ever read. If someone had told me that Steve himself wrote it, I'd believe them.

I look at that hologram of the cat and can't think of anything other than:

Malaysia uses the metric system and McDonalds here still calls it the Quarter Pounder. I think EU MickeyDs was just being fruity with their product names. Or in their lingo, they were taking a piss with the menu.

Malaysia offers a free 3G (No 3GS here yet) if you sign up for a 2-year contract as well. And the phones sold here are factory unlocked too. The only bad thing is that no amount of money with any Malaysian telecom company will grant you an unlimited data plan, you can spend twice as much a month and get twice as much bandwidth but no all-you-can-eat.

Regardless how these ads never really go beyond Macs 101, they always seem to make me chuckle. If Apple is doing nothing else they are making TV more bearable to watch.

I know people who mute ads unless an Apple commercial comes on, even if they've seen it. It's like a mini-serial that airs during their favorite shows.
