I too tried out the demo, I liked the look of it (feel its a pretty close representation of downtown Tokyo) which is the main reason it caught my attention and the character models were quite good as well.
What I disliked about it was the cutscenes started off with voice overs then randomly went to old school 'read text to see what there saying' and then back to voice overs again! Why not just do the whole thing with voice overs?! The combat was pretty meh, defiantly needs a lock on mechanic or something to tighten it up.

As for what SEGA is cutting, 'time-constraints' just sounds half assed to me, most people who are interested in this game will most likely have an interest in Japanese culture, so why westernize it for them....?!

I've had a similar problem for a while now (6 months) :/ It randomly will just disconnect, or you press the PS button to turn the PS3 on, and the controller lights just blink and nothing happens, have to turn the PS3 on manually and then plug in a USB cable.
Eventually I got sick of it so I emailed support recently, and they just told me to do a reset and mentioned above.... Didn't really make much difference since, and as it happens with all 3 controllers its defiantly the PS3..... :(

That was my first thoughts aswell, the move set looks pretty limited.... maybe if its cheap, but looks quite meh

Why don't they say thanks to all of us who already have LBP by giving us some free costume pack's and Metal Gear add-on's? - I guess that would defy the point of the GOTY edition, but still......

There should be no excuses, it had a crap story and horrible voice lines (whose idea was it to make every character Brucie from GTA?!), crap gameplay, crap weapons = they have nothing to do with programming and "development" of the actual the game.

ROFM was a launch title and a PS3 exclusive and it had a better story, gameplay and weapons, and on top of the graphics looked solid and had an excellent multiplayer mode.
It's easy to blame the console, but if other's could produce better results a year earlier then why couldn't they? It's not like they were new to the gaming industry or anything.......

I want, but I have have an original backward's compatible 60 gig so wont be selling that any time soon.
