What do think there is ONE NDA for the entire planet? I'm very aware of what i can and cant say. If your friends cant mention that they are under NDA then thats fine and it's per their NDA. Thank you for telling me what the NDA that I signed says. I didnt know that there was only one NDA for the whole world. I appreciate it.
The games I've worked on have sold in the millions and I'm also a published author for the very software we use at work. 3D Studio Max versiion 8.0 by Josh Robinson. (will be released in about 6 or 8 weeks)
Untold Legends for the psp by its self sold over half a million. Nba street sold 1.3million, then there is Planetside, everquest 2, Untold Legends 2, March Madness 2001 and 2002. Prior to games i was in broadcast where i was doing high end rendering.
I dont understand all the hate. I went out of my way to comment on the ps3 because i was being asked about it all the time. I get nothing out of this and have no motivation to lie about anything I wrote.
You know some of you guys make it difficult for people witin the industry to comment on anything because we just get attacked when we do.
Also, I can only say so much about the technology because of NDA. I cant release any pictures of the box, or the work because of NDA. So im sorry if the article doesnt have as much information as you'd like. Specifically about the cell processing and how its been running. So i wrote within the guidlines that I am able to.
sorry if some of you dont like the article. You dont need to dig so hard to try and discredit anything ive said. I'm very accessable via the forums on www.downinfront.tv I will answer any questions im asked directly.
I wrote the article. Im responding to muddbogger saying that i was being innacurate. When i said that we (sony) were the only ones running the demo in real time i was specifically refering to the demos being shown at that presentation. I was not refering to every game developer on earth. I have no idea what the state of Mobile Suit Gundam and Heavenly Sword were during e3 of last year but they were not at the demo. I would be pretty suprised however if they had much more than an emulation running on a normal pc. Which is certainly possible.
here is a link to the demo we did at e3 last year. this video is about 2 hours long fyi. http://media.ps3.ign.com/articles/615/615091/vids_1.html I wrote the article.
