Games for Windows Live adding Games on Demand beginning Dec. 15 {Joystiq}

Dec 3rd 2009 5:32PM Steam achievements are just not as good, in my opinion, because they don't contribute to any larger body of work (for lack of a better term). They aren't regulated for "value" and there isn't an easy way to see how many achievements a person has gotten.

Dec 3rd 2009 3:51PM Could be kind of good if all the games on the service incorporate achievements on GFWL that tie in with your overall gamerscore.

That's really the only thing I wish Steam would do. Aside from the in-game rewards, Steam achievements are pretty pointless.

Review: LittleBigPlanet (PSP) {Joystiq}

Nov 17th 2009 11:01AM "While the PSP version of the game does an adequate job of transplanting these tools onto a portable console, a surprisingly large amount of that power and ease of use was sacrificed in the process."

Now why would this be, in any way, surprising? The resources of the PSP are so much smaller than the PS3, it's pretty much expected that functionality is going to be very limited.

Nov 13th 2009 6:30PM I hope you're not talking to me, Bo. Out of the 15 articles on the front page right now, I've commented in two of them. And this is the first time I've been on this site today.

Nov 13th 2009 6:25PM I can't possibly be the only one who is completely uninterested at the prospect of getting up early and nearly getting trampled by a bunch of assholes just to save $10-20 on things I shouldn't be buying anyway.
