"Retina Display" is just stupid.

It's a higher resolution screen. BFD.

I've always used Newegg, and have had no problems with them. I don't even think anything I've ever bought through their site has been DOA.

I'd recommend it, since they have good prices and are usually nice and fast with the shipping.

Same here - Newegg is a great site, and they have nice, quick service. Decent prices, too.

I built a pretty nice rig over a year ago for only about $900, and it's still going strong. Building a PC yourself is the only way to go if you want to do gaming, especially if you like the idea of saving yourself some cash.

Tsunoda, Harmonix address Kinect player limit, but questions remain

Half of the people using it probably won't have room for more than two people in front of their set anyway. And it's still a cost-effective solution compared to getting four people using Move, or even Wii.

I thought we already knew that it could support more than two people...?

Latest Steam hardware survey shows Mac users still well behind PC owners

Aug 26th 2010 1:27PM (Big Download)
Not surprising, really. Mac make up only about 5% of the world market of computers anyway, and like their PC counterparts, not all are able to play games well anyway.

Shank devs looking into busted 360 Achievements and chugging cinematics

Aug 26th 2010 12:56PM (Joystiq)
I wanted to try out Shank last night but it's just under 2gb... which wouldn't really take *that* long to download, but just kind of pisses me off. I mean, come on... put it on a disc, already.

Torchlight 3 out before Diablo 3, Runic CEO hypothesizes

Aug 24th 2010 1:28PM (Joystiq)
Well, good to know. I'm still a bit skeptical about three installations of Torchlight before Diablo 3, though. Based on my observations from the first game, I don't think there will be as much depth in all three Torchlights versus one more iteration of Diablo. Who knows, though.
