So... is this for the EU store as well? I'm kinda feeling a little left out since I kan buy stuff from the US store!

This movie had better be good! And so far, based on the few trailers i've seen - it's gonna deliver big time!

Does anyone know whether it'll hit theaters europe and if so do you recommend camping out in front of theaters for opening night tickets?

While gaming mags are pretty much obsolete in regards to actual game reviews, I still prefer sitting down with an school paper magazine when reading about other gaming related stuff. (not neccesarily breaking news - but behind the scenes kind of things...)

True, Sony doesn't put a gun to my head in their attempt to make me adopt Blu-ray (what a dumb assumption) - but to me it comes off as arrogant to try and steer the market in the way they try to with their own formats instead of trying to support other (established or not) formats so that they can collect royalties and whatever other reason they might have. This is the reason I choose not to support Blu-ray.
And i disagree that the PS2 pushed DVD into mainstream - the DVD format was widely availible at that time, I see no relation to current events there...

Mind you I have a lot of those Sony products, and I got burned... not going to happen again...

But then again, I won't run out and buy HD-DVDs first chance I get either!

I'm sick and tired of Sony trying to pull some new
standard down over our heads. They've done it for years without luck (UMD, their stupid music .attrc or whatever, memorysticks, MiniDisc and the obligatory mention of Betamax are some)and I see no reason for favoring Blu-ray over HD-DVD's. To me it seems they have no respect towards the consumer or that they just don't have a clue as to what we want. BRD may be somewhat superior to HD-DVD, but that's not the most relevant thing for me at this point. As a company Sony
has become arrogant and demanding, and quite frankly, a company I in no way can see myself supporting... espacially not a new format like this with their current track record.
