Joyswag: Dreamcast Collection, soundtrack vinyl and 'Still Thinking' hoodie

Jul 28th 2010 1:10PM (Joystiq)That soundtrack is one of my favorites to listen to while doing just about anything. Quite exceptional across the board. I really hope they can replicate the string of good mash-ups one after another like they did with the first.

Aug 8th 2008 4:12PM (Joystiq)Honestly though think you're asking for a bit much? I mean everytime a service offers somebodies music a buttload of people gotta get paid before iTunes, Harmonix, or Activision can put this stuff up. So say Harmonix did a joint thing with iTunes you'd have to charge so much that it makes more sense to download separately.
Especially because Harmonix ask for so much more than Apple. Harmonix needs master tracks and they need permission to edit the original work where they see fit. They need music sheets, conversion hardware for older masters, and the effort it takes to chart some of the more complex stuff. They need much more flexibility than a simple music download service needs.
