For the most part, this post may be useless; you see the picture, laugh, and move on. What is so offensive about it? Initial adopters of the PS3 are 'paying beyond': beyond the original price of the PS2.
The PS2 was $300 at launch. The PS3 will be $200-300 more. Will this stop any of the 400,000 in the US who will pick the PS3 at launch? No. It will simply cause the others who missed out to wait for the next shipment.
