So if you already have a 360 and its working fine for you then why flame about this?

Microsoft isn't FORCING people to buy this SKU over the other ones. They are just giving choices to different consumers that have different needs. If you are going to do tons of video downloading through their service a 120gb hard drive will be very nice. If you are just going to play games opt for the premium SKU instead. And if you're really cheap go for the core and buy a second hand memory card. Fact remains people wanted an HDMI port. People wanted a larger hard drive. Microsoft delivered on both. Sure the price is jacked, but thats just the nature of the beast, if people are willing to pay a higher price for an "elite" SKU let them pay. and once they stop paying the price will drop and we will be able to sucker someone into giving us 300 bucks for our almost 1 1/2 year old machines and put that towards a brand new one.

I played it last night at work. (Circuit City)

I love it.

I was really really excited about this game because the concept behind it was so awesome...

5 minutes into the game I found myself swearing at the screen and throwing down the controller....

that game is SOOOOO bad. The controls are impossible and the cutscenes are horrible, I want to see the people talking when they are talking, not just shots of the ships.

We've had those discs at circuit city for a few weeks now...

I personally think it is kinda sweet. Instead of waiting forever for the client to download or installing the game with 4 or 5 discs (I dont remember exactly how many), you get the whole thing on one dvd disc. Makes for an easy reinstall.

And I mean come on its two dollars... I have that in change in my ash tray.
