The lack of MMS really isn't a big deal, given the unlimited data. If you really need to send a photo to someone's phone, just email it to their phone's MMS address. Usually @vzwpix.com or something like that.

eStarling 2.0 WiFi digiframe gets larger, maintains price

May 11th 2007 6:57PM (Engadget)
I bought the original one for my parents for Christmas last year. The resolution was SO BAD! I was apalled. That, and the wi-fi only worked within 15 feet of a base station. Needless to say, I promptly returned it.

What did they add with 2.0? Another crappy-res screen. Cell phones take higher res photos than that. This is just abysmal, even at that price.

Best Buy "Apple Boutiques" appearing

May 10th 2007 7:10PM (TUAW.com)
Yeah, my Best Buy in West LA has had this for several months now. It's pretty nice, but the computers aren't connected to the internet, like in a real Apple store. They still, however, give casual buyers a real opportunity to see that the Mac is a real option when buying a new computer.

Excuse me for being ignorant, but why would you ever need a clock input for a network media player? Does it do midi as well? I don't understand...

Xbox Live Marketplace"s E3 offerings [update 1]

May 2nd 2006 7:57PM (Joystiq)
Oh, man. I want an E3 map. That would be amazing. That huge hallway between the South and West Halls, with all those huge columns--there are tons of great hiding places. Not to mention all the fun you could have in Kentia Hall. Icing on the cake would be a view of Staples Center out the windows, where the Lakers and Clippers will be in a showdown for the ages.

Yeah, I know it's a WWII shooter. Who the f cares?
